Scholastica 2025 – Mentoring the Next Generation
Scholastica: Zimbabwe’s Premier Education, Career, and Training Expo
Scholastica is Zimbabwe’s leading platform dedicated to education, careers, and training. Organised by the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Company, the 2025 edition was held under the theme “Heritage-Based Education as a Catalyst for Industrialisation.” This theme underscored the vital connection between innovative educational approaches, meaningful industry integration, and sustainable economic development. It showcased exemplary models that not only engage learners but also equip them to tackle real-world challenges with confidence and creativity.
Within this integrated framework, education emerges as a transformative force—empowering academic institutions and stakeholders to become proactive drivers of change in an increasingly interconnected global economy.
Our session was expertly moderated by Nomalanga Ndlovu (popularly known as Miss Noma), and I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with distinguished panelists Tariro neGitare, Ruvimbo Katiyo, and Gilmore Khumalo. Together, we delved into the powerful idea of crafting solutions rooted in one’s identity—a topic that resonates deeply with me. The conversation offered compelling and thought-provoking insights from both the moderator and fellow panelists.
